A Little Madness Brewing Company

“You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it.” ~Robin Williams

Loxley Hawk is proud to be constructing A Little Madness Brewery for microbrewery owners Dayna and David Beddick. A Little Madness brews their beers using fresh, local (when possible) ingredients using sustainable techniques. They offer seasonal beers IN SEASON, not from last year’s fruits. David Beddick was quoted by the Pensacola News Journal, stating, "We'd like to take advantage of local ingredients and use ingredients that are in season… We also utilize solar power on our home. We're definitely going to expand into those things when we move into the commercial area. The approach is to try to make this as sustainable a product as we can." Loxley Hawk is excited to bring this modern, sustainable craft brewery to our local neighborhood.

Check out A Little Madness’s Facebook page or use the Untappd app to check in and rate their craft beers. By supporting local craft, you are supporting a better product, a better experience, and a better community. Taste the difference a little passion makes!

“There is no genius without some touch of madness.” ~Aristotle

Rowe Residence – A Hurricane Ivan Survival Story

Ira and Angela Rowe’s home sustained damage from Hurricanes Erin and Opal in 1995. The following year, David Butler of Loxley Hawk, Inc. worked with his crew and LA Homebuilders to build Ira and Angela a new home. In 2004, Hurricane Ivan made landfall. The Rowe residence sustained only minor damages: the loss of some shingles and ridge cap. Three blow-out walls were blown out (as they were meant to do when hit by the storm surge), but Ira was able to locate them, bring them back to the house, and put them back in place on his own. The 22-year-old home on the beach still stands and looks as good as it did the day construction was completed!
